Want to maximize battery life for Palm Pre? Many users have complained about the meager battery life of Pre and Pre Plus. So, how to extend Palm Pre battery life? There are many ways to improve the battery life of your Palm Pre and here are some tips.
First, we all know that the Pre can do multitasking, but do you know that sucks up a lot of battery juice? Sure it’s convenient to jump from apps to apps without launching and relaunching, but leaving more than one app open slowly drain out your battery life.
Second, do you know that if you turn on GPS option, your Pre will keep tracking on your current locations - that alone can take up some battery life? Leave it off if you don’t use any location based applications.
Third, it’s a simple one. Don’t turn the screen to its brightest setting, especially when you are in a low lighting environment. The brighter the screen, the more battery life the device needs to use.
OK, one last tip. Don’t turn on Wi-Fi if you don’t plan to do some heavy web surfing. Your Palm Pre will constantly checking for Wi-Fi signals and will ask if you would like to connect. That message alert alone will take up some processor and battery power. So, leave Wi-Fi off so you can maximize Palm Pre battery life.

On WiFi–I’ve also read that if you’re in a low-coverage area, using WiFi is easier on the battery than cellular data.
