Where can you find a HTC Evo 4G for sale besides Sprint stores? Go online. There are bunch of authorized dealers willing to offer you the new HTC Evo at a very cheap price. And we have a pretty solid tip that the HTC Evo 4G sale price will be lowered than iPhone’s 3GS. How low? I am guessing $150 from Sprint after rebates, so online authorized retailers may offer it at $99 or less. Given all the amazing specs we have seen all over the web, we are very thrilled to see this phone coming this summer. Are you going to get the HTC Evo 4G? Current Palm Pre and Pixi users, will you switch to the first 4G smartphone from Sprint? Stay tuned for more updated info on HTC Evo for sale.
Update: HTC EVO 4G on sale now for $189.99 with NO rebates required!

Hmm… I have a Pre but I’m still on the fence on whether or not I will switch. Almost everything about the Evo is better than the Pre: The 4.3″ screen, the 8 mp camera PLUS the 1.3 mp front facing cam, the HDMI output, records and plays in HD, has 4G and Wimax (not like El Paso has wimax), the 1GHz processor, and in one of the demo vids, the guy seemed to press a button that showed “cards” similar to webos but didn’t seem likeTRUE multitasking. I would much rather have a physical keyboard but I can learn to adapt. BUT I’d rather have: multitasking, contact/email/messaging/calender integration, and MOST IMPORTANTLY webos. I don’t care what version of android it has. The only way I’ll switch is if it had the latter as well, which I’ll look up on.
WRONG. Although I am getting the device after switching from my Pre (which i am sure will be hard to do without multitasking), the phone will be above the $200 mark. At CTIA more than a handful of people from Sprint said it’d be in the higher end of smartphone pricing. If anything it will be about the same price as the Touch Pro 2 from Sprint, if not more expensive. So thats $299+. Albeit, I’m still gonna buy it.
@Shanil, $299 is too expensive. I know is very reasonable given all the amazing stuff you get from the Evo. Sprint will throw in at least $100 rebate. You can bet that our advertiser can hook us up with something much cheaper, just like the Palm Pre Plus at $79 while retail stores sell at $150+
This is one of the few issues Im having in regards to the EVO is the pricing. Your looking at a high end phone probably priced at 200-299+, with Sprints 4G not even covering the most important Metro area I live around(NEW YORK). Let alone at that its not even deployed in the tristate area. It boggles my mind that these guys have mad texas its biggest Wimax state so far, but your doing it in population areas that are minimal. WHY? Pricing plus plan pricing is gonna be huge. Will the 4G tech cause sprint to do a radical change in pricing. Will they take away their 69.99 & 89.99 plans
One more worry is battery life for a phone that maybe priced high. I know you cant get stellar battery life with 8 devices connected, wifi, and the phone actively searching to switch between wimax, wifi, or 3g at anytime. My main gripe is the ability of the phone to last a full day running the OS itself, which has been a horrible waster of battery on many android phones. Running basic text messaging, emailing, and voice. As long as the phone can last long under those basic conditions on any average human beings days then Im sold. But here goes to hoping sprint aggresively asked HTC to make Battery Life an important issue.
I want to upgrade from my palm pre to the htc evo but I’m considering the price the phone when it comes out. The palm pre wasn’t nothing like i expected it to be. I didn’t think I would have all these problems with it. I currently on my third palm pre and I’m having the same problems with it as I did my 1st one.
I tested the HTC HD2 with TMobile and it is a BEAUTIFUL phone, lightning fast despite WM6.5. As much as I loved the phone, I decided I wanted to move away from Windows altogether and g Android. The EVO is the phone I’ve been waiting for, based on my experience with the HD2, I am at edge of my seat waiting for the EVO.
I have T-Mobile’s HTC mytouch and i was thinking to exchange it to a new HD2 or Nexus1. I even left my info at the store to get HD2 first hand. But now everything I liked about HD2 and Nexus1 combined together it’s just like if HD2 and Nexus1 had sex together and now they have Evo baby witch is so beautiful. Good by T-Mobile and Hello Sprint. Does anybody knows if it will be available in unlocked version just like Nexus1?
I am not walking to get the EVoO, I’m running! I have never felt more cheated than when I got the Palm Pre! What a POS! The has not been a day in the last year that I have not regreted gettin the Pre. I was promissed voice activated dialing, never happened. I am on my 4th Pre, none my fault. Sure it may have 2300 aps, but most are in the catagory of “farts”, “how to be a good Christian”…etc…not for me! It is hard as hell to sync my contacts to my phone, actually have not been able to do yet. And now the idiot who heads HP, makes the remark that they never bought Palm to be in the phone business….yep a phone i want to have!
Sprint sucks. Charging 10.00 more for a service that most people can’t use. I’m also in El Paso and its so stupid that with a city our size they can’t offer 4G. They’re more concerned with rolling it out in markets that are all ass backwards.
i have the palm pre, its my 3rd one cause the speaker keeps blowing out! i want to upgrade to the htc evo.. im hearing both sides, the pre is better cause of webos but the hardware sucks, an i hear the evo is better but android sucks.. any suggestions from anyone who had the pre an now has the evo…
