Based on various Palm Pre Plus reviews I found online, there are some pretty good feedbacks on this new Verizon Palm Pre Plus. Sliding mechanism has been improved - it’s snappier and smoother. Similar keyboard layout as the Sprint Pre. I am still having trouble pressing the top row keys without hitting the edge (the Pixi won’t have the problem since the keyboard is on the same level as the screen). Same plastic feel - it’s actually good, doesn’t feel as heavy as the iPhone. The navigational button has been removed. Well it wasn’t really a button - you can’t push it down and scroll it. It is more like trackpad area where you can swipe you thumb up/down and left/right without touching the screen. I think the button removal is great - everything can be accomplished on the screen anyway. Overall, the Verizon Palm Pre Plus reviews are mostly positive. Check out the hands-on videos here.
