Can a TX be beamed into the PRE so that contacts can be preserved?

I noticed the palm Pre will play WAV files, but at what resolution? Will it just do the normal CD quality 44.1k,16bit, or will it go higher to 48k or even 96k at 24bits? That would be really cool…

Tried to put a 24-bit WAV of Sigur Ros on there and no Dice, 16-bit at 3072kbps Works fine though ;-)

Palm can’t forward text or reply to email. Can anybody help me I’m running Gmail on it

You can forward text & reply email. Go to precentral.net forum. Download WebOS Quick Install. With that you can tweak your phone to do what you want and more!! I love this phone after tweaking it. Before you can tweak it you have to enable the phone to developer mode being ON. (just type upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart).

I have Palm webOS 1.2.1 installed. It says here it supports Animated GIF, but it doesn’t show my gif file anywhere. So what’s going on????

is there any way to keep information confidential on the pre. I had a palm tx and others which had ways to hide and keep confidential info separate only visible with a code. Please let me know. Palm support says there isn’t yet. What do you all think?
