When Will AT&T get Palm Pre

Palm Pre Plus for Sale!

Good news keeps coming for the New Year. AT&T has officially stated that they would release 2 WebOS phones during first half of 2010 - I have no doubt they will be Palm Pre and Palm Pixi. But exactly when AT&T will get Palm Pre is still unknown. My guess would be after the first quarter since Verizon will release the Pre in the first quarter. Too many carriers choices might not be a good ideas, but ultimately the winners will be consumers - you can choose from 3 biggest carriers in U.S. and enjoy the latest webOS has to offer. Now the question is, when Palm Pre becomes available at AT&T, will it eat away the iPhone share? Maybe, depending on how much AT&T will price the Pre. I would expect no more than $99 after rebates. Let’s keep our finger crossed.

I have been waiting for at&t to carry the palm pre for over a year. I hope they do, I really love it. I have the centro and would only change it for the pre, but it is starting to give me problems so I hope that it arrives soon.

Would you consider Pixi? It’s amazingly light and thin.

So after first quarter, meaning after April (possibly)? I’ve literally been waiting for the pre since January 2009…

Speaking on the pixi though, I’m just not sold. The main point against it for me is that it seems a little less professional and more teenage. But that’s just me, could be better than the pre.
